[Click por En Español] Catholic Charities’ Hispanic Apostolate Community Services has been serving the Hispanic community in New Orleans since 1972. Our mission is to help immigrants become independent, productive, and integral members of our society, respecting the dignity and potential of each human person. Hispanic Apostolate provides direct client services, community outreach and advocacy to the Hispanic community. Additionally, they offer weekly opportunities for prayer, spirituality and community. Here is a list of weekly activities at Hispanic Apostolate community Services:
At the Hispanic Center at 2525 Maine Ave. Metairie, LA., phone (504) 467-2550 we offer the following:
REGULAR SERVICES:
– Mass in Spanish, Monday through Thursday at 6:00 PM, St Lawrence the Martyr Church
– Convalidations and Marriage Preparation
Sacramental Preparation for
– Baptism
– First Communion
– Confirmation
– RCIA
ACTIVITIES:
– Praise and Worship followed by Holy Hour on July 6 at 6:00 PM with Fr. Pedro Nunez.
– Spanish Mass at the Rosary Congress, Tuesday October 8/2013, St. Dominic Church, 775 Harrison Ave. New Orleans.
– Annual Marian Mass, Celebrant Archbishop Gregory Aymond, October 13, 2013. St. Lawrence the Martyr Chruch.
– Bible Study by Rev. Luis Henao. Monday and Wednesday night 7 to 8 PM
– Youth and Young Adult Groups with Sr. Nery Sori, OP
– Radio Program “Hora Catolica” (Catholic Hour), Sat. 9 to 9:30 AM Radio Tropical, KGLA 1540 AM
– SEPI South East Pastoral Institute, offers the School of Ministries for leaders.

Apostolado Hispano de Servicios Comunitarios de Caridades Católicas ha estado sirviendo a la comunidad hispana en Nueva Orleans desde 1972. Nuestra misión es ayudar a los inmigrantes a ser independientes, productivos y miembros integrantes de nuestra sociedad, respetando la dignidad y el potencial de cada persona humana. Apostolado Hispano ofrece servicios directos al cliente, alcance comunitario y de promoción para la comunidad hispana. Además, ofrecen oportunidades semanales para la oración, la espiritualidad y la comunidad. Aquí está una lista de las actividades semanales en Apostolado Hispano de Servicios Comunitarios:
En nuestro Centro Hispano ubicado en el 2525 Maine Ave. Metairie, Telf. 504-467-2550 ofrecemos los siguientes servicios:
– Misa en español de lunes a jueves a las 6:00 PM Iglesia St. Lawrence the Martyr
– Cursos de Preparación Pre-Matrimonial
– Cursos para Bautismo.
– Preparación para la Primera Comunión
– Preparación para la Confirmación
– RICA Iniciación Católica para Adultos
ACTIVIDADES:
– Alabanza y Hora Santa una vez al mes. La próxima será el 6 de julio a las 6:00 PM con el Padre Pedro Núñez
– Congreso del Rosario, Misa en español; martes 8 de octubre de 2013 en St. Dominic Church, 775 Harrison Ave. , New Orleans.
– Misa Mariana, celebrante Arzobispo Gregory Aymond, 13 de octubre de 2013, Iglesia St Lawrence the Martyr.
– Estudios Bíblicos a cargo del Padre Luis Henao, lunes y miércoles de 7 a 8 PM.
