Housing & Homelessness Services
Homeless Services provide shelter and case management for individuals with chronic mental and physical health needs and families experiencing homelessness.
Services include permanent supportive housing and sixteen independent apartments for intact, single-parent families. We provide case management, counseling, advocacy, referrals for additional services, therapeutic and educational groups. Additionally, we provide home-based case management, counseling, life skills training, budget planning, advocacy, linkages to mainstream resources, and referrals for additional services.
- Bridges to Self-Sufficiency works with single-parent families. It assists families in finding transitional housing for three to six months until they can get back on their feet.
- Ciara Independent Living provides stable, safe, and stigma-free housing for severely chronically homeless and persistently mentally ill individuals. Case management services are provided to assist them in an independent life.
Most clients have been living in an emergency shelter, on the streets, or in a place not meant for human habitation. We work to provide them with care that addresses immediate needs as well as building long-term plans for housing.
