Become a U.S. Citizen – We’re Here to Help You Achieve It
At Catholic Charities, we remain deeply committed to supporting our community with their U.S. citizenship applications. While recent changes in U.S. policies have impacted our capacity and led to a temporary pause in our Citizenship Classes, we continue to offer Legal Services for Citizenship. Our experienced legal representative is available to provide you with the guidance and support you need throughout the application process.
Our current services include:
- Legal Representation: We will guide you through the citizenship process and provide excellent legal support for a low cost.
- Personalized Guidance: From your initial application to your Oath Ceremony, we will walk you through each step of the process, ensuring you understand everything and feel confident in your application.
Since 2015, we have proudly helped hundreds of individuals achieve U.S. citizenship. In 2024 alone, we served nearly 200 participants and assisted over 100 individuals in becoming new U.S. citizens.
Are You Ready to Apply?
You may be eligible to apply for U.S. citizenship if you meet the following requirements:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Be a Legal Permanent Resident (LPR) for at least 5 years
- If married to a U.S. citizen, you must have been an LPR for at least 3 years
