Food Pantry Client and Volunteer is Thankful for the Pantry

Mondy Isaac is a client and volunteer of the Food Pantry. Mondy lives with her husband, and several nieces and nephews that she is taking care of.

She speaks about what the Catholic Charities Food Pantry has meant to her and her family:

Why did you come to Catholic Charities, what problems/challenges were you facing?

When I lost my job during the COVID 19 pandemic, I came to the food pantry to get some help. The help I got here means a lot to my family.

Why did you decide to volunteer at the food pantry?

I was so blessed by the help that I got at the food pantry, I decided to volunteer.

How has volunteering at the food pantry affected you?

It’s encouraging me to help more every chance I get.

What has been your favorite part of volunteering with this program?

Seeing the smiles on people’s faces when they receive the food bags.

Why should other’s volunteer with CCANO?

Because it’s the right thing to do.
