Catholic Charities’ Food Pantry is in need of Volunteers at 2505 Maine Ave in Metairie!
Volunteers are needed Monday-Thursday, 9AM – 12PM and 12PM – 2PM.
Volunteers will be helping pack food bags for the food pantry, unload food deliveries, keep the pantry clean, and occasionally assist clients in carrying items to their vehicles.
We anticipate needing volunteers weekly until the end of August and potentially longer. The space is small but air conditioned.
We also REQUIRE masks and closed toe shoes and only allow 4 people in the food pantry at one time. We also take temperatures daily.
We have some flexibility to work with different schedules!

It is located at 2505 Maine Avenue in Metairie. It is located on the campus of Catholic Charities Immigration & Refugee Services Offices.
In order to reach the food pantry, you need to drive down a long driveway on the left of the Immigration & Refugee building. There is a large parking lot and the food pantry is on the right in one of the old classrooms. The room is marked by fliers on the outside of the door.
