St. Elizabeth’s Guild Supports CCANO Programs

St. Elizabeth’s Guild exists to support the many needs and well-being of the various children’s programs serviced by Catholic Charities.  St. Elizabeth’s Guild has supported the children of the Archdiocese of New Orleans for over 45 years.  Over those years, the type of children of help has changed from orphaned to abused, neglected, troubled and physically and mentally challenged children.  With the closing of the Hope Haven campus, the Guild’s mission has changed but continued its commitment to the children’s programs of Catholic Charities.

Even though the Guild was unable to host their annual Activists Luncheon, their members came through with an additional donation to two of our programs.  In March 2021, the Guild happily donated $16,500 to Padua House and $3,500 to Therapeutic Family Services.  Thank you to St. Elizabeth’s Guild for their generous donations!

St. Elizabeth’s Guild is always excited to welcome new members to their organization.  Their membership year runs January through December.  Dues are $35 per year or a Lifetime Membership for $250.  For more information, please contact Membership Chairman, Suzette Herpich at 504-296-6698.

The Guild’s upcoming Volunteer Activists Awards Luncheon will be held on October 8, 2021 in the Empire Ballroom at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.  The Patron Party begins at 10AM, Doors open to guests at 10:30AM and the Luncheon begins at 11:30AM.

For general Luncheon information, contact Luncheon Chair, Cindy Wooderson, at 504-236-8720.
