On this Easter Sunday, I pray that you are blessed with fullness of God’s goodness and grace!

  I began this past Holy Week with a passage from Palm Sunday’s Gospel where Jesus reminds us, “The poor you will always have with you and whenever you wish you can do good to them…(Mk 14:7)” This passage has carried me to this Easter Sunday, particularly when thinking about the good works and good people of Catholic Charities. For truly, by being a friend and supporter of our service to the poor and vulnerable, you carry the poor with you as they journey through challenging times. You help take up their cross and make their burdens lighter by supporting Catholic Charities’ diverse services to those in need. And you join us in rejoicing in the love of serving others as Jesus calls us to do by his example.
