Blessings of the Season: A Message from Sr. Marjorie

Published on December 24, 2013

Dear friends of Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans

As we await the coming of the Christ Child this Christmas, I find myself reflecting on the past year and the many unexpected gifts and opportunities I have experienced at Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans. I truly feel blessed to experience firsthand the transformative power of service, care and hope that Catholic Charities delivers to the most vulnerable in our community every day.  I am constantly amazed by the selfless dedication of our staff, the commitment of so many volunteers and the generosity of our many benefactors and supporters like you.

As we celebrate this holy season, please know that you are in my prayers. I give thanks for your support of our staff and clients at Catholic Charities.  Every day each program and ministry of Catholic Charities, no matter how small the staff size or the client base, reaffirms Jesus’ call to love one another, care for one another and serve one another as he did. I humbly encourage you to learn more about our work and those we serve on our website at

O Come, Emmanuel! Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year,

-Sr. Marjorie Hebert, President and CEO
