While thousands of visitors and locals celebrate and enjoy our city this festival weekend, the public should be wary of scams and false solicitors seeking cash donations on the spot around the Fairgrounds and throughout our city. Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans and its programs and ministries NEVER directly solicit cash donations, especially at large scale public events or door to door. The public and fest goers are advised to contact local authorities or security if they encounter someone soliciting in the name of Catholic Charities. Catholic Charities wishes all festival goers a safe and fun final weekend of Jazz Fest!
