Independent Living Skills Program
Independent Living Skills Program (ILSP) assists youth who are or were in foster care to become independent adults. The program gives an opportunity for youth to learn valuable skills necessary to make a successful transition from state custody to living on their own in the community.
Foster youth age 14 -21 may be eligible for this program.
Program curriculum includes:

- Job Search
- Budgeting and Financial Planning
- Community Resources
- Housing Options/Location
- Health Care
- Transportation
- Shopping
- Emergency and Safety Skills
- Housekeeping
- Personal Appearance
ILSP Aftercare Program provides ongoing support and assistance to young adults (18-25) who struggle to meet the challenges of independent living after completing ILSP.
