Pregnant? We can help.

The possibility of an unplanned pregnancy brings with it many questions, which is only natural. Pregnancy Services (formerly ACCESS) is here for you.

Caring staff members and volunteers are here to support you during this time of uncertainty. Our client advocates are extensively trained to provide individualized support and referrals for all of your pregnancy-related concerns. Professional counseling services are available by referral.

We offer the following FREE services*:

  • Pregnancy testing
  • Education on adoption, parenting & abortion
  • Referrals for prenatal care & community resources
  • Ultrasounds to confirm pregnancy
  • Online Medicaid enrollment by certified Medicaid enrollment specialists
  • Diaper Bank that distributes diapers and wipes monthly.
When you have an infant, diapers are an everyday necessity. Through a partnership with the Junior League of NOLA, we offer a supply of diapers and wipes per child, once every 30 days. Call (504) 832-1503 for more information about our Pregnancy Services Diaper Bank program.
  • Professional counseling

* All services are complimentary and confidential. We do not offer or refer for abortions.

Why an Ultrasound?

At Pregnancy Services, complimentary ultrasounds are available to all women to confirm the pregnancy. All ultrasound examinations performed on patients at a pregnancy help medical clinic, like this one, are limited obstetrical ultrasounds. The purpose of such an ultrasound is to confirm the viability of the pregnancy and ensure that the client is not in danger of a miscarriage. (If there is risk of miscarriage, immediate medical attention is warranted.)

Once the pregnancy is confirmed, the client will truly be able to consider her options and make a decision. No one option is right for everyone — our goal is to help the client explore her individual situation and provide education to aid in the decision-making process.

Project Rachel

It’s normal to grieve a pregnancy loss, including a loss stemming from an abortion experience.

Project Rachel is a national post-abortion support and referral service providing compassionate one-on-one care to those struggling with the aftermath of abortion. Counseling services, performed by specially-trained individuals, are available to anyone seeking support following an abortion. The program is designed to help women and men alike; including parents, siblings, friends and others whose lives have been indelibly affected by an abortion loss.

For more information on Project Rachel or if you or someone you know needs help, please call 504.832.1503.

Rachel’s Vineyard Retreats

Rachel’s Vineyard is a retreat program to assist men and women struggling after an abortion experience. Pregnancy Services sponsors these weekend retreats to provide a supportive, confidential and non-judgmental environment where women and men can express, release and reconcile painful post-abortive emotions to begin the process of restoration, renewal and healing.

For more information about the retreat program or to reserve your spot for the next event, please call 504.460.9360 .

    Want to Help?

Diapers are a basic need for children, as essential to their health and well-being as food & shelter, yet 1 in 3 American families struggle to afford diapers. ACCESS distributes an average of 12,000 diapers to local families each month, so we are always in need of diaper and wipes donations to replenish our stock.

We especially need larger sized diapers. Donations may be dropped off at our Metairie location, 921 Aris Ave., or purchased through our online registries at AmazonWalmart, and Target,

You can also click here to make a gift. For questions about making a credit card, in-kind donation or other donation, please call 504-832-1503.

Catholic Charities Tax ID # is 72-0408911.

For the past decade, the Junior League of New Orleans has teamed up with Catholic Charities and other local nonprofits to distribute diapers directly to those in need. Click the logo above for more info on the JLNO Diaper Bank.
