 Secret Santas to Bring Christmas Cheer to Padua House
The Louisiana Hospitality Foundation Board to Bring Gifts to Padua House Residents

WHO: Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans in partnership with the Louisiana Hospitality Foundation.

 

WHAT: Members of the Louisiana Hospitality Foundation (LHF) board of directors will fulfill Christmas wish lists for the residents of Padua House, a program of Catholic Charities.

Padua House is one part of a broad scope of services provided for the elderly and the intellectually and developmentally disabled in and around the New Orleans area through Padua Community Services. Through residential programs and in-home care, Padua Community Services supports the dignity of life and acts out the legacy of St. Anthony of Padua’s care for the poor and vulnerable and their families.

 

WHEN:            Thursday, December 10, 2015; 3-4 p.m.

 

WHERE: Padua House, 200 Beta Street, Belle Chasse

 

HOW: The Louisiana Hospitality Foundation annual visit includes more than a dozen Santas in full costume, carrying sacks of gifts for the residents of Padua House. Santas are a mix of Foundation board members and supporters who arrive in style atop the Drago’s Seafood Restaurant firetruck with the siren blazing. Residents await this visit on the front porch with smiles. Each resident gets a personalized bag full of gifts that are customized to their special needs. LHF also brings tokens of thanks for the staff who help make Padua House such a special place for their residents.
