DSNAP Benefits for Hurricane Zeta Relief

In response to lost power and food due to Hurricane Zeta, residents in Orleans parish can apply for Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (DSNAP).

Louisiana is not authorized to operate DSNAP at this time.

There has not been a DSNAP ordered for Hurricane Zeta.

DCFS is worked with the SDA Food and Nutrition Service to secure all federal disaster food assistance possible for residents of parishes impacted by hurricane Zeta. Stay tuned for updates. In the meantime, here are some things you should know:

  • If you pre-registered for DSNAP for Hurricanes Laura or Delta (or since March 2020), you don’t need to pre-register for Hurricane Zeta.
  • If you have not pre-registered, please do so now by clicking the “pre-registration” button below or by phoning the LAHelpU Customer Service Center at 1-888-524-3578.
