Outdoor Mass Celebrates Immigrants with Cultural Celebration and Food Collection – May 1

This weekend, Archdiocese of New Orleans Hispanic Apostolate Pastoral Services will honor the constitutions of immigrants in our community with outdoor services at Notre Dame Seminary with a Food Collection of non-perishable food items benefiting our Food Pantry on Saturday, May 1 at 2901 S. Carrollton Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70118!

 

The Outdoor Mass for Immigrants will take place on Saturday, May 1 at 5PM set against the backdrop of the “Angel Unawares” sculpture on exhibit on the campus of Notre Dame Seminary. 

 

The Food Collection will take place May 1, beginning at 4PM.

If you plan to attend the mass or events – You can park at St. Rita’s (few blocks away from the Seminary) and drop food for the Food Collection there. 

If you do not plan to attend the mass – You can drive off Carrollton to the Notre Dame Circle and cars will collect Food Collection items.

 

The weekend will close with an Interfaith Prayer Service led by Archbishop Aymond on Sunday, May 2 at 3PM!
