Thanks to all who volunteer with Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans!
Volunteers are truly the hands and heart of our mission to serve as Jesus served and to love as Jesus loved. Each year, thousands of caring individuals selflessly commit their time and talents to providing crucial assistance and support for our programs. This week, in celebration of National Volunteer Week, we just wanted to take a moment and express our heartfelt thanks to all our volunteers for their commitment to helping those in need. Volunteers are the action verbs in our mission of service!
Did you know? In 2012-2013, 11,298 volunteers gave 225,948 hours of service across our programs! The value of this volunteer work is over $2million to Catholic Charities and priceless to the thousands of people you helped serve.
