Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans is excited to take to the green with the Zurich Classic of New Orleans! Held April 23-26 at TPC Louisiana, purchase your regularly priced tickets to the Zurich Classic using our special charity ticket form and 50% of your ticket sale will directly benefit Catholic Charities and 50% will support the Fore!Kids Foundation. This year, Catholic Charities’ Cornerstone Kids Mentoring program is supported by the Fore!Kids Foundation. An initiative of Cornerstone Builders, Cornerstone Kids connects children of incarcerated parents with volunteer mentors. Through one-on-one activities and group meetings, mentors provide support and encouragement for at-risk youth that promotes trust, confidence, personal growth and positive thinking. In addition to the mentoring component, this program coordinates monthly bus trips to Louisiana’s detention facilities for families with an incarcerated relative.
Since 1958, the Fore!Kids Foundation has raised money to fund children’s service organizations, like Catholic Charities, through golf events like the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. A 501(c)(3) corporation, Fore!Kids has raised over $28 million to date; providing healthcare, education, and hope for over 200,000 children each year.
