The 2015 hurricane season is here! As the social service arm of the Catholic Church, Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans is the main response agency of the archdiocese. We have been prepared by experience to meet the needs of the community in the aftermath of a disaster and to provide continued support and assistance in the often long recovery process. Our specific disaster response plan changes depending on the needs of the community, but this can include establishing and coordinating points of distribution for supplies, offering counseling and pastoral care in the aftermath of an event. We will strive to swiftly and effectively address the needs with compassion and care.

Being prepared is crucial to staying safe this hurricane season! NOW is the time to make an emergency hurricane plan for you and your family.
