Office of Justice and Peace
The Office of Justice and Peace promotes Catholic social teaching to Catholic Charities’ programs and the wider Catholic community. This office coordinates the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD), Catholic Relief Services (CRS), Parish Social Ministry, and JustFaith activities in the Archdiocese of New Orleans. The office also seeks funding for Catholic Charities’ poverty programs and is involved in legislative advocacy.

Cornerstone Builders
Cornerstone Builders is a program for formerly incarcerated persons looking to provide service to the community and educational opportunities. Cornerstone Builders also provides free family bus rides to prisons and mentorship to children whose parents are incarcerated.

Spirit of Hope/Workforce Development
Spirit of Hope began as a collaborative program among Catholic Charities and 15 other non-profit agencies in areas affected by the 2010 BP oil spill. Spirit of Hope’s work continues through workforce development, community outreach and engagement, education, counseling services and psychiatric services.
