Foster Grandparents is a program that benefits low-income seniors and special needs children. The Foster Grandparents provide their life experience, wisdom, love, and attention to encourage and mentor children and troubled teens in a variety of settings such as schools, Head Start and day care centers, shelters, and rehabilitation facilities. Seniors receive a small stipend and help with transportation.

Greenwalt Adult Day Healthcare Center
Greenwalt Adult Day Healthcare Center provides full-day services (Monday – Friday) to individuals with Alzheimer’s Disease. Our services offered include: nutritional meals, health screening and monitoring, medication administration, exercise, social activities, field trips, music and art, and reminiscence and intergenerational projects. We also provide counseling and support groups for caregivers. Greenwalt is under the direction of PACE.
Hope Haven Adult Day Healthcare Center
Hope Haven Adult Day Healthcare Center, located on the Westbank, provides full-day services to adults in need. This center offers a vibrant and social community for you loved ones to enjoy their day while receiving the support and care they need. Hope Haven Adult Day Health Care Center provides a much-needed healthcare option for adults in the New Orleans metropolitan area who require a nursing-home level of care in a manner that would provide them with more independence and dignity than current options. Hope Haven is under the direction of PACE.

The Shirley Landry Benson PACE Center promotes the health, independence, and dignity of senior citizens. PACE’s mission is to enable frail older adults to live in their homes and in the community as long as medically and socially feasible. It is a comprehensive healthcare program that includes an adult day health care center, primary and specialty physician care, medications, rehabilitative therapy, personal care services and transportation.
