Save the date for GiveNOLA Day –  May 5th!

Now in its second year, this city-wide day of giving makes a significant impact on NOLA charities and causes. This year, GiveNOLA Day donations to Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans will benefit Head Start! Our goal is to raise $25,000 to support the 400+ children and families served by our five Head Start sites throughout the Greater New Orleans Area.

Please SAVE THE DATE and mark your calendars to make a difference for the children and families served by Catholic Charities’ Head Start program this May 5th!

Why GiveNOLA Day? Your donation goes even further on GiveNOLA day with lagniappe dollars in matched funds from the Greater New Orleans Foundation. In addition, long-time angel of St. John Head Start, St. Elizabeth’s Guild has given us an additional challenge! If we raise $25,000 on GiveNOLA Day, they will donate $8,000 in additional funds to support Head Start! We need your help, NOLA!

Remember, gifts can only be made on May 5th, from 12:00am -12:00pm through our special GiveNOLA page at givenola.org.

For over 40 years, Catholic Charities has been providing children and their families with a “Head Start” in life. Head Start serves low-income families who fall below the national poverty level. It is a child and family development program with special emphasis on a comprehensive range of health and social services for children from infancy to 4 years of age. The program also provides supportive services for the whole family. Head Start builds a foundation for learning that children take with them to kindergarten and beyond! Join us this May 5th as we get a HEAD START on GiveNOLA Day!
