Operation Helping Hands

For Prospective Volunteers

We are now recruiting** semi-skilled, longer term volunteers to help us paint, landscape and rebuild the homes that we have gutted.

These volunteers will ideally have experience with one or more of the following:

• Drywall • Painting • Installing insulation • Carpentry • Electricity • Plumbing • Flooring

Plan your trip now! We still need volunteers for the weeks of:

The month of February
March 22, 2010
April 5 and any time after

Volunteer Corps

Are you looking to make a difference in the New Orleans area after you graduate?

We are looking for high school & college graduates up to age 30 to participate in our newly formed Volunteer Corps!

If you are willing to make a 3 month, 6 month or 1 year commitment, we will provide housing, food, a basic stipend & job training.

- Exterior painting
- Worksite coordination
- Case management
- Volunteer management
- Willingness to learn!
